Privacy policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
HauntGlow operates this store and website (hauntglow.com). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. HauntGlow is powered by Shopify, which hosts the store and processes data on our behalf.
What we collect
When you browse: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and how you arrived on the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
When you order: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and order details. Payment card data is entered directly with our payment providers — we never see or store your full card number.
When you contact us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
Why we use it
- To process, ship and track your order
- To answer your questions and handle returns or refunds
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To improve the store and, if you agree to it, to send you marketing emails
Who we share it with
Only with the partners needed to fulfil your order: Shopify (store and checkout), our payment providers, our order fulfilment and shipping partners, and our review platform. Each receives only what is necessary. We never sell your personal information.
Some of these partners are located outside the European Union, including in the United States. When your data is transferred there, it is covered by the safeguards provided for by EU data protection law.
How long we keep it
Order data is kept for the period required by accounting and tax law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Browsing data is kept for a limited period only.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@hauntglow.com. We answer within 30 days.
If you are in the European Union and believe your data has been mishandled, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the store to work (cart, checkout, security), plus analytics and marketing cookies where you have consented. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings; the essential ones are required for the store to function.
Children
This store is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the current version.
Contact
For any question about privacy or to exercise your rights, write to support@hauntglow.com. We are the data controller for the personal information described above.
